All of this will be clearly visible on a calendar which presents the availabilities for your holiday residence. So don´t forget to indicate the periods when your building is not available. If you do not indicate the availability of your holiday residence in your calendar, this will also not appear in the search results.
You can update the availability of your residence and your rents via My Holidayweb > My advertisements. The rates must be filled in on a day basis (even if you rent for a longer period).
With each update your advertisement appears:
- at the top of the search results of the visitors;
- at the top of the "last added" heading on the homepage.
Note carefully: each available period must be expressly filled in as available. Only filling in those periods which are fully occupied is not enough. If the availability is incorrectly indicated in the calendar, your holiday residence will not be displayed in the search results.
Visitors are not only looking for advertisements of holiday residences with photos; they also want to know the most recent information (availability, prices, etc.).
Therefore adapt your availability schedule regularly. And don´t forget that renters can see the date on which the advertisement was last updated.
No, for the moment it is not possible to enter special promotional rates for your advertisement.
For last-minutes, however, you can select the Last-Minute ´theme´ when entering your residence details. In this way, your holiday residence appears in the search results of Last-minute holidays. You can also mention special rates in the free text field of Rates and Availability.
We advise you to always keep your calendar up-to-date with the availability of your holiday residence. In this way you avoid wasting anyone´s time.
We advise you to always ask for the telephone number of the renter and then contact him by telephone. E-mails do not always end up in the right place, or are not always checked on a regular basis. Moreover, by telephone it is easier to learn just how motivated the renter is, and also to answer any questions immediately. In this way you develop a relationship of trust with the renter much more quickly.

- adapt the information which you wish to make visible for visitors (name, e-mail, telephone).

Note carefully : the address of your holiday residence cannot be entirely changed. If you want to register a new residence, you must prepare a new advertisement.
You cannot change the address to your own website.
The price contained in the summary of your advertisement is the day price which you entered when placing an advertisement.
You can always adapt your day price in My Vakantieweb > My Advertisements.
The price only serves as an indication for the renter. All further price agreements, as well as the payment of the holiday residence, take place directly with the potential renter.
Only day prices are displayed on vakantieweb.be. If you rent your residence out for a longer period, Vakantieweb.be itself makes the calculation on the basis of the arrival and departure dates which are entered by the renter.
Through "My Holidayweb", you can at any time upload or remove photos for all your advertisements. Holidayweb reserves the right not to publish blurry photos, insufficient resolution, tagged, having written or figures affixed to the picture, with characters appearing in photographs or pictures representing a threat to public order and morality. The advertiser will be notified of such withdrawal and instructed to replace them, otherwise the ad will appear without a photo, which is of course damaging to the visibility of said ad.
In order to extend your publication period, you open My Holidayweb. Then you click (for the desired advertisement) on the link "extend advertisement". Then simply follow the procedure.
No, my ad must be renewed before I can make changes.
Perform a search request. Then you click in the page with the search results on "E-mail report of this search request received". Then simply follow the steps which appear on the screen. This service is entirely free of charge.
You receive a report that your payment was not successful. You can then try to make the payment once again.
